A little something to say "Oh Hai" A picture from Comic Con, Alice talking to herself, it's like a reality dream. I like to spend my life in dreams sometimes, this morning it was a bout my little ponies, little mermaid and cleaning out the freezer with a childhood friend. Funny stuff. If we can use our dreams to facilitate our reality and inspire us to move mountains with greatness, then I had better keep a better dream journal! At least I inspire people in my dreams as well :D What inspires you?

What an update so soon, oh yeah! Cliff is sending vibes

Well another layer has gone down, of course there is a long way for it too go, to look the way I want and I will be busy all this week so he will have to wait until say monday or so. Her favorite color is red so I thought I would give some red throughout, I believe adding another layer of white over and in between some of the red will look nice, I might even do a few layers and build up the oil a bit. This is like my third oil painting. So he gets the weekend to dry while I visit the zoo.

Cliff Burton is making an appearance

So I have started the painting for my sissy. I sketched the canvas two weeks ago and today I added some white for the face and arms. I find that a little help is not what I want when I'm trying to be creative, just trying to get into the groove, some people don't realize that they are hovering. We as artist have a vision and our own way of doing things, so I want all of him in the picture, I'll figure it out how to get the parts the way I want, somehow. It's a process, I'll find out the way like you do and the thing about me, well I like imperfections for some things and maybe just finding an imperfect way of painting him is what I am all about. It's an extension of yourself and I'm going into this portrait! So far it's not much and I don't expect anyone to really look at this and see what is on it's way but it's a start. It's not much but there it is.

Another oldie

I was inspired by my cat, she was so relaxed and snoring a lil so I decided at midnight of all times to capture her the best I could. She is a cream colored cat so I realized quickly that this was not an easy task.

I think getting some oldies on here is good

 When not working on much at the moment I think I will add something at least just to keep up with this. Here is dozen songs by one of my favorite bands put into visual. Blue October.  Also I couldn't waste that quote, it's so awesome!

Web Presence

I have been finding that in order to get more support you need to build your web presence. I feel like I'm juggling between when I'm suppose to be working cause I want to comment on as many blogs or threadless submissions as possible so I can get more of a following, or support I guess. I am new to this but I am really working hard on finding my way in the art world. We know we like art but finding the direction to take our art well that is a whole other story. I'm sure that you know what I mean? So here is a little sketch that I thought I would add. Cute little fisher fairy. Would be cool if I could do more with it to make it a submission. My mind is all over the place and I should be working but I have a million pictures going through my brain and feel all over the place, kind of like when I'm trying to go to sleep, does anyone else feel that way? Maybe I should start a tumblr?

Zooey

She is finally finished. I started her on the way to Kansas City in 09' on the plane and hadn't picked up where I left off for a while until Sept 11' and finally finished her last week of Dec 11'
